„If you want to see light, you need to go through your shadows.”
Floris Weber
Resolving hypnosis was developed by Floris Weber and is based on cause-oriented therapy. It is mainly concerned with confronting and working through stressful emotions that cause negative actions and thoughts. In many cases, the journey that is taken through the emotion brings lasting and profound healing.
UNDESIRABLE BEHAVIOURS
Our actions are directly related to our feelings. Behaviours can be traced back to how we feel.
Hypnotherapy can help to work through and resolve emotional blocks. This way, harmful baggage is offloaded and one’s self-esteem is strengthened.
People can change their perspective on things by resolving their negative emotions.
During hypnotherapy, images and memories from childhood may emerge. People relive their emotions as they experienced them at the time. This re-experiencing helps many people to free themselves from the damaging beliefs they have been living with.
DISTURBING SYMPTOMS
If we psychologically overload ourselves for a long period, we may experience symptoms, such as anxiety, sleep disturbances or pain, among others.
The aim of the treatment is to get rid of the disturbing symptoms. With the help of resolving hypnosis, some complaints can be treated in a targeted way and easily. However, there are also stresses that arise in the form of an accumulated symptom.
In the case of an accumulated symptom, several stresses come together.
For example, if the client regularly reacts to different stress triggers with stomach pains, it is necessary to first treat several causes hypnoanalytically so that the stomach pains disappear.
RESOLVE STRESSFUL EMOTIONS IN ORDER TO GET RID OF SYMPTOMS
Our subconscious stores memories with the associated feelings. Intense formative events that are associated with negative feelings are stored in our memory for a particularly long time. These feelings can affect our quality of life and behaviour.
Stress hormones ensure that stimuli from negative experiences are particularly well secured. If subsequently, similar stimuli occur again, the hidden feelings are activated and undesirable behaviour patterns are exhibited.
These unprocessed feelings lead to increased stress in the body. Our nervous system can no longer calm down and symptoms increase.
Emotional Abreaction
Repressed emotions often come to the surface during a hypnosis session. They are also known as an emotional abreaction. People often just notice an unwanted symptom that they want to get rid of without knowing its causes. However, the unprocessed emotions are usually directly related to the causes of the symptom. Abreactions often arise during hypnosis. In this case, people become angry or cry, for example. The reaction becomes exhausted and the processing of the emotion takes place. When relevant stimuli no longer trigger the symptom, one can be sure that successful processing has taken place.
